HARDWARE - FFG STATION
The FFG
control station is mounted off the grinder in an area on the floor convenient to
the o
perator's
work routine. It contains the industrially
rated computer, keyboard, and monitor, as well as the encoder module, relay
boards, terminal boxes, cables, and other miscellaneous items. Various A/D and
I/O circuit boards are installed in the computer expansion slots. The 14 gauge
Nema-12 rated steel cabinet is equipped with a circulating fan and filtered
louvers for cooling, or optionally with a heat exchanger. Terminal strips are
provided for all external connections. Auxiliary power outlets are standard
along with an EMI filter and circuit breaker.
