INSTRUCTION MANUAL
COMPUTERIZED CROWNER RETROFIT SYSTEM
The manual supplied with the RGB Engineering crowner system is a complete and
comprehensive submission of technical material selected to provide the user with
all the information necessary to understand, install, operate, and maintain the
equipment. Two sets of drawings are included as well as a backup software
diskette of the FFG and FFP programs. The "Installation" section of the manual
provides all the information needed for installing the mechanical and electrical
hardware, plus any modifications to the existing grinder. There is a section on
"Description", which covers not only the new equipment, but also any
explanations of the OEM's designs that relate to the crowner interface. The
"Operation" section is very detailed, and gives step by step instructions for
the various menus and software commands in addition to general discussions of
all the operational sequences. There is a section devoted solely to the "bed
correction curve", with explicit instructions on the methods for acquiring the
data and developing
the curve. The "Maintenance" section covers all aspects of
maintenance, troubleshooting guidelines, and service as well as configuration
and dip switch settings for all circuit boards used. Included are all the
recommended spare parts listings broken down by class categories. Commercial
part numbers are supplied allowing spare parts to be purchased direct from
venders if preferred. The manual also includes safety information and related
data, plus
other useful information. In addition to the RGB Engineering manual
described above, the submission also includes a complete set of vender
documents, manuals, and reference literature, together with any required
software or technical data. All technical documents received with the vender
commercial hardware are passed on to the customer.
